The climate crisis is already and will remain an inescapable aspect of our lives. Over the coming decades, we will feel the impacts of climate change, and many of us will participate in and help lead climate action around the world and across all sectors. Rutgers’ role as a laboratory for climate citizenship will be our most enduring contribution to climate transformation. This theme requires: How do we use our campus and surrounding areas as laboratories to prepare members of the Rutgers community as whole individuals to leverage their distinctive talents and interests to become active and resilient climate citizens?
