Anna University has announced that semester exams for engineering courses that were scheduled to take place on February 19 will now take place in March. The exams have been postponed due to the election of the local body. The ballot for the local urban elections will take place on February 19.
The Ministry of Higher Education has announced that the exams for the semester have been postponed to the first week of March. Anna University has published the semester exam schedule for engineering courses in this category. In accordance with the new date sheet of the university, the semester exams will take place on March 5, 6, 9 and 11 instead of February 19.
The university has also decided to conduct its semester exams in an online take-out mode. The questionnaires for the semester exams will be sent to the students’ messaging and WhatsApp numbers or via any other digital means. Students will need to check the questionnaire and write the answers on an A4 sheet. They will have three hours to complete the exam and one hour after the exam to scan the paper and send it back to the university.

Students were also asked to mail the answer sheets to the university. Answer sheets sent by email and a hard copy sent by post will be matched and only those with the same answers will be evaluated by the university. Students are required to send answer sheets to colleges by courier or post within one week of the end of each course. Among other changes, university exams are a bit delayed. Usually Anna University semester exams are held in November and December.
