Justin hoff, formerly Director of Creative Services, has been promoted to Deputy Director of Sports for Creative Services. In this role, Hoff oversees Football Creation, All-Sports Creation, Video Production and BaylorVision. This expanded role reinforces the synergy and coherence between all the creative units.
Former Head of Strategic Marketing Courtney scrivano was appointed director of college licenses. As the Baylor brand continues to gain national recognition, Overshown recognized the need for a position focused on maximizing branding and brand licensing opportunities. In this role, Scrivano oversees the activities and strategy of the licensing program in conjunction with CLC, Baylor’s college licensing partner.
With the transition of Scrivano, Erin bean, formerly deputy director of athletics for marketing strategy, was promoted to deputy director of athletics for strategic marketing and fan engagement, adding oversight of fan engagement, group marketing and l community engagement.
David Kaye, deputy sports director for sports communications also assumed additional responsibilities. Last season, Kaye was the primary communications contact for football in addition to men’s basketball and oversaw the athletics communications office.
Gina Gonzales was promoted to deputy director of sports for resource development. Gonzales served as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Development, Marketing Communications and Operations for the past year. In her expanded role, she now oversees the department’s annual fund, the Baylor Bear Foundation, ticket sales, ticketing operations, and the marketing and operations team.
Recently added to the Gonzales Resource Development team are Jessica mcadoo, Shelley zych, and Kyle Barnard.
Baylor alum Jessica mcadoo joined the Resource Development team last summer as Director of Development Operations. Prior to transitioning to athletics, she worked for the University Advancement Office as Deputy Director of Endowment Programs.
Friend Baylor alum Shelley zych, previously Coordinator of External Affairs, became Coordinator of Resource Development. Zych now oversees the front office of the Bear Foundation, hiring and training students, coordinating special events and helping with excellence funds.
In a newly created role, Kyle barnard has been selected as Baylor’s new deputy athletic director for annual donations. Barnard comes to Baylor from the University of Central Arkansas Sports Properties, where he oversaw the solicitation, management and execution of all corporate partnerships. In his new role, Barnard will be responsible for managing the annual fundraising efforts of The Bear Foundation, including membership renewals, level upgrades and recruiting new members. He will also be heavily involved in the sale of premium seats and various excellence funds.
