12 schoolchildren were supported in their academic progress in view of their university entrance exams
The Veyseloglu Business Group (VGC) has again joined the nationwide initiative “Build Your Future” which is designed to help aspiring Azerbaijani schoolchildren eyeing universities and other higher education institutions. As part of this campaign, the Group will support children from low-income families in their academic preparation for the university admission exams.
This year, VGC will finance twelve schoolchildren, as well as young people with disabilities and special educational needs. The funds will cover their tutoring necessary as part of the academic preparation of schoolchildren for university entrance tests. Preparation also includes vocational training for children with disabilities to facilitate their integration into social and economic activities.
This year’s funding will help 12 schoolchildren in the capital, Baku, Sabunchu region. Besides academic preparation, the “Build Your Future” campaign also involves educating participants on healthy lifestyle and social skills.
Thanks to the support of VGC over the past years, more than 40 young Azerbaijanis have been supported in order to follow the academic preparation required for a successful university registration. All these young people, from Baku and different regions of Azerbaijan, were offered places in various higher education institutions.
